Thank you to Britton and the staff of FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Those words just don't seem to be sufficient. At the most difficult time of my family's life, they were there. We felt as though our loved one was being cared for and respected, we have felt the concern for us during our grief and the journey that it is. From start to finish their genuine concern and care has shown through. We are blessed with this team and continue to feel their support 3 months later. Again, thank you doesn't seem like enough. FairHaven came recommended to us by our mother's hospice provider due to their caring approach to handling final affairs, and we found that to be so true. While it's difficult not to be emotional when discussing how to respect the wishes of a loved one, having those difficult conversations led by someone who is compassionate makes all the difference. We felt like Elaine was there to support us through the choices we had to make, she helped us put together the obituary through laughter and a few tears, and we never felt rushed. Though planning the departure of a loved one is never easy and comes so early in the grieving process, I felt a sense of calm knowing that we were being guided by someone who cared.

Going to a funeral home can be very scary. Not only are you in shock, but you are having to deal with the details of an unimaginable loss. The staff at Fairhaven were amazing. Immediately I felt like we were being enveloped in compassion by a group of truly caring people. I will be forever thankful for the way they treated myself , my children, and Courtney with the utmost respect.

Fairhaven was all we could have asked for, and more than we expected. With no sales hype whatsoever, and with great compassion in evidence, they met with us, asking first what was our vision of what we wanted to do for my husband. They offered options at every point that included low cost choices as well as itemized add on possibilities. All the choices were made available to us without pressure of any kind. The memory package was beautifully done. Throughout the process, they sought to assist us through but to let us define the path. It was such a comfort to be able to ask questions and to feel that they were answered with our wishes always at the forefront. We were so relieved by both their helpfulness and their sensitivity to our desires. The entire process was smooth, prices reasonable, and expert guidance freely available. Many thanks from our family.
